Top 6 Reasons to Practice at 6am

, Top 6 Reasons to Practice at 6am

With the return of 6am classes on Tuesday and Thursday to the Outlaw Yoga Littleton studio schedule starting January 16th, I thought it apropos to fire off my top-6 reasons to get your ass out of bed and into class at 6 in the freakin’ mornin’…

6 – The Parking is Outstanding

The parking lot behind the studio is empty and FREE for yoga students at this ungodly hour. Course, the street spots are pretty much empty too – so shoot for the front row spot in front (the new back) or grab one of any number of wide open spots in the back (the new front).

5 – FREE Coffee at GraceFull Community Cafe

Our good friends and esteemed community members at GraceFull Community Cafe – a stellar pay-what-you-can cafe less than a block north of the studio – will give you a FREE cup of coffee if you’ve practiced with us that morning. Pop in to 5610 S. Curtice after class and tell ’em you got your ass to the 6 am class…

4 – Class Pass is Accepted

The popular fitness app is accepted ONLY at 6a at our studio…this due to the fact that, while great for some students, the aggregate fitness app is actively driving compensation down for studios in a way that will, ultimately, prove inhibitive to the quality offered by our and other boutique fitness studios…mark my words.

3 – Prezley Shry ROCKS

Our resident 6a, teacher, Pre-Z-ley Shry – the @yogi_prez – is a rockstar and offers the perfect modifications to our time-honored Outlaw 1 class to help you wake up, warm-up, and get after it!

2 – Your workout is in the Books

No matter what happens with the rest of your day, your workout is out of the way…life’s gonna take us a lotta directions and I myself often find the day creeping into evening and I haven’t carved out time for my physical wellness. Too late to workout I push it to the next day, hoping that it doesn’t happen again. Fuck that – get it over and done…you’ll be glad you did!

1 – Outlaw Yoga is fucking AWESOME no matter when you practice it

Beyond the fact that Outlaw Yoga is a fun and effective way to start your day, yoga is also often easier and more productive if you haven’t eaten anything before you practice. I myself have suffered through my fair share of post-burrito classes (and taken a 6am class or two) and know well the difference.

So there it is, Outlaws! Get your ass in a class whether it’s at 6a or 7p with me and my sister Carly on Tuesday nights. Our new schedule starts TOMORROW, January 15, 2020! Check it out, and reserve your spot HERE.
